Rob Casey - Founder and Director
Founded Ammonite in 2017

Rob oversees all creative and technical initiatives within the Studio. He leads both the core team and a flexible network of freelancers, ensuring clients benefit from a highly engaged, hands-on approach across concurrent projects.
Rob graduated from Mountview in 2010 with a first-class degree in technical production and formed Ammonite in 2017. Rob’s background is in high-end major commercial theatre and live events where he remains a sought after independent Lighting Designer for productions across the globe. For many years he worked as an Associate Designer listing credits amongst the world’s most pre-eminent creative practitioners.
Matt Roper - Technical Manager and Director
Joined Ammonite in 2021

Matt is our Technical Manager and a Director at Ammonite and responsible for equipment selection, hire, purchase and maintenance. Matt manages our asset technicians, draughting department, specialist freelance staff and any further ad hoc knowledge sourcing required across projects. He advises clients on complex rigging and installation of bespoke systems and control interfaces and provides all Ammonite staff with first line enquiry for technical provision and budgeting.
Matt trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School gaining a degree in Stage Management and Technical Theatre. He further holds the BS7909 Temporary Electrical Installation certification.
Matt Veitch - Creative Producer
Joined Ammonite in 2023

Matt works across the full portfolio of projects with a specific focus on creative ideation and new project development.
Together with Rob Casey he leads on the development of creative responses and the design and authoring of large-scale production pitches, marketing campaigns and external communications.
Matt trained at Mountview gaining a BA (Hons) in Technical Theatre and subsequently a PGCert in Theatre and Performance from Rose Bruford College.
Genna Hill - Senior Project Manager
Joined Ammonite in 2024

Genna has a unique skill set that blends theatre and events with expertise in live and recorded commercial television.
A multi-skilled production manager, she has worked extensively for the BBC as an Assistant Director, in West End theatre as a show-caller and stage manager and in the UK and international touring circuit in various roles.
Genna trained at GSA gaining a degree in Stage Management and Technical Theatre.
Robin Longley - Project Manager
Joined Ammonite in 2026

Robin is one of the West End’s most well-known Stage and Company Managers. From the RSC to the National Theatre, Robin has supported some of the most prolific directors and performers of the last twenty years. Trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Robin has progressed from touring and regional theatre to the largest of West End houses. He is an experienced Production and Company Manager with a strong background in leading stage management and technical departments while supporting the work of acting companies.
Epernay Norman - Finance and Commercial Manager
Joined Ammonite in 2024

Epernay heads up the world of Finance at Ammonite taking charge of all Studio and client project accounts. Epernay studied at the University of Auckland in New Zealand gaining a degree in History, Politics and International Relations.
At Ammonite she has been responsible for setting up myriad reporting and financial accounting protocols and works closely with both the Project and Technical departments to administer transparent production flows with advanced forecasting and budget control. Epernay is currently studying for her UK Chartered Accountancy qualifications.
Thomas Payne - Studio Assistant
Joined Ammonite in 2024

Tom works across many different Ammonite projects and supports the core team technically both from the Ammonite technical base and also on-site at various theatres and event locations in London and UK wide. Thomas studied at UEL gaining a degree in Music Technology and Production and fulfils the role of both Production Electrician and Sound No.3 for special event and project development initiatives throughout the year. Thomas enjoys graphic and social media content design and is an invaluable support to the Social Media team at Ammonite.
Grace McCaffrey - Studio Manager
Joined Ammonite in 2025

Grace holds the all-important job of co-ordinating Ammonite's day to day administration, including looking after the busy office environment. An industry experienced manager with previous experience as a Company Director's PA she has the unenviable task of managing Rob's diary and making sure operational communications run smoothly across the team.
Grace is a cultural all rounder, a committed film fan and theatre goer she also has a passion for photography and gained a BA in Film Studies from Queen Mary University in London. With an additional brief to further enhance Ammonite's certification and compliance processes, Grace will be working across a number of bespoke projects for the business and is therefore central to the company's wider administration and management.
